Dysport is used to temporary treat moderate to severe frown lines/wrinkles that exist on the forehead and around the mouth. The generic name of the drug is AbobotulinumtoxinA. The drug is a neuromuscular blocking agent and acetylcholine release inhibitor. The drug is also used to treat neck pain and abnormal head position in adults with cervical dystonia (CD). Other uses of drug include treatment of muscle spasms, movement disorders, and severe underarms sweating. In addition, the drug is also used for preventing headaches in adults who suffer from chronic migraine. Description of Dysport:
