Each gram of Celestone comes as a ointment, gel or cream. Every each gram of this sample has triamcinolone 0.1% in a vanishing cream aqueous base. You will also find certain non medical ingredients which exist in Celeston - ceteareth-20, petrolatum, mineral oil, cetearyl alcohol, sorbitol, simethicone, propylene glycol, polyethylene and water. The drug - Celestone, is in the form of a gel, which is made up of triamcinolone in a hydrocarbon gel containing a mineral oil gel and polyethylene base.Precautions
Celestone comes in the form of a gel or paste that is applied on the affected parts right away. The gel must not enter the eyes. If for whatever reason the gel enters the eyes, make sure that the eye is cleaned with lots of water immediately.Patients who are affected by some particular diseases, should avoid using Celestone. The problems may be related to skin tuberculosis, any viral or fungal skin infection, vaccinia, herpes simplex or any variety of skin allergies. These patients should definitely avoid using Celestone as it may cause negative results. In addition to this, people affected by diabetes mellitus and peptic ulcers should avoid using the medication. A low amount of steroid is released when this drug is applied to the skin, which affects the body. Women who are pregnant should avoid taking this medication.
Some of the side effects related with Celestone can be avoided by simply talking to the doctor, by lowering the dosage, or by switching to a similar medicine.
