Feeling troubled about the brown spots on your skin known as hyper-pigmentation? That is nothing but accumulated or excess melanin in some areas under the skin. This hyper-pigmentation increases when exposed to harmful UV rays, or sunlight. To solve this problem, try Glyquin.

Pharmacology

The increasing number of spots is caused by many factors such as excessive sunlight, genes from ancestors, age factor, pregnancy, usage of oral contraceptives etc. The softening of the skin can be obtained by the application of hydroquinone cream (such as Glyquin XM) on brown spots on the skin.

Indications

Over-exposure of the skin to sunlight, pregnancy and usage of oral contraceptives makes the color of skin very dull and unimpressive; the answer to this is Glyquin XM, which reduces the deficiency caused by over-exposure and other factors.

Contraindications

Glyquin needs to be checked for susceptibility to irritation, adverse reactions or any case of history where it has proved to be harmful. Also any one of the compositions present in Glyquin which can cause some problem needs to be looked into carefully. Application/usage of Glyquin for children under 13 years and during pregnancy has not been established.

Cautions

The strong dermo bleaching agent Hydroquinone gives rise to unnecessary cosmetic effects if its procedure of usage is not strictly followed. Do not use Glyquin cream when the skin has deep wounds, burning sensation or on skin which is affected by fungus. It is always better, that a trial is conducted to ascertain the level of concentration of Glyquin that your skin can withstand so it will not create adverse side effects. Before using Glyquin XM, test for skin sensitivity by applying a small amount to the skin on the inner upper arm or behind the ear and check it after 24 hours. Make sure the skin is clear and unbroken. An indication of slight redness is not considered a reaction.

If there is any kind of severe inflammation or eruption or even protrusion, it is strictly advised that therapy should be discontinued. Even if there are signs of severe rash, discard its usage. It is also recommended that Glyquin should not be applied even if slight irritation persists. If there is any accidental contact of this product with the mucous membrane or eyes, treat wash it out with warm water. If continuous usage of this product for 3 months results in some white color softening around the treatment area then therapy needs to be stopped. It is strictly advised that this should not be applied for the prevention of sunburns. Always keep Glyquin away from children.
