Neulasta Injection Information:

Neulasta Injection is used for the prevention of neutropenia caused by certain medical conditions such as cancer and/or certain medical treatments such as chemotherapy. Neutropenia is a disorder that occurs due to abnormally low levels of neutrophils—a type of white blood cells—in the blood. Neutrophils act as a primary defense against infections. A low volume of these white cells increases an individual’s vulnerability to infections. This medication does not treat cancer.
