You should not buy Paraplatin if you are allergic to any of the active/inactive ingredients present in it. This medication is contraindicated for patients who have bone marrow suppression or severe bleeding.
To ensure that Paraplatin is safe for you and to avoid unnecessary drug interactions, it is imperative that you discuss your medical history and current medications with your doctor before starting treatment. If you have a weak immune system, liver disease, kidney disease, or have taken Carboplatin earlier, then your doctor may ask you to undergo special tests before commencing the treatment or adjust your dosage.
Pregnant women should not buy Paraplatin as the drug can harm an unborn child. The safety and effectiveness of this drug on breastfeeding women has not been established. If you are nursing, use Paraplatin only if directed to do so by your doctor.
This drug may lower your white blood cell count. Also, during Paraplatin treatment, you are more likely to bleed from an injury—even a minor one—or catch an infection. Your doctor may adjudge that you need to undergo blood checkups regularly. Ensure that you do not miss your appointments if this is the case.
Some patients who receive Paraplatin treatment may require blood transfusion. Before you start the therapy, discuss the drug’s potential risks with your doctor.
