Perlane is used for smoothening mild to severe wrinkles and facial folds, including nasolabial folds that run from the nose to the corners of the mouth, forehead lines, smile lines, horizontal frown lines, and glabellar frown lines. The generic name of the drug is hyaluronic acid (dermal filler) which is available in the form of skin filler injections. The effects of the injection last for as long as 6 months.

Perlane is implanted into the patient’s skin in order to fix his/her facial contours. It restores fullness and volume to the patient’s skin. Perlane is available in the form of a crystal-clear gel which is injected to fill out deep folds, wrinkles, and the lips as well.

Safety & Precautionary Information:
Before you buy Perlane, you should inform your doctor if you have history of a bleeding disorders or if you have been hospitalized before for a bad allergy to a drug. You should remember that this medication should not be used if you have pimples, hives, cysts, infections, skin sores, or rashes on your skin. You should wait until these symptoms get healed. Sometimes, you may also experience swelling, skin discoloration, tenderness, redness, itching, small lumps, or pain at the site of the injection. Most of these symptoms last for only 7 days, after which they subside on their own.
You should not touch the treated area before at least 6 hours of treatment, as the area is still numb and touching it may accidentally cause an injury. In order to avoid or reduce swelling, your doctor may advise you dip a cloth in water, wring it, and apply it to the injected area immediately after the treatment. To prevent any side effects of the medicine, you should not take aspirin, NSAIDs, Vitamin E supplements, and other such medicines before at least one week of commencement of the treatment.
