Reclast is used to treat osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. The drug is specifically prescribed for postmenopausal women who have been diagnosed with osteoporosis, and who are also diagnosed with prevalent vertebral fracture or bone mineral density. This drug reduces the probability of fractures related to osteoporosis. Besides reducing the incident of osteoporosis related fractures, the medication also lowers the chances of new clinical fractures in patients with high risk of fracture. The generic name of the drug is Zoledronic acid.
Reclast is also used to increase bone mass in men who suffer from osteoporosis. This drug is also used in treatment of Paget’s disease, and to prevent or treat osteoporosis that is induced by glucocorticoid. Before you buy Reclast, consult your doctor to ensure that the drug is safe for you.
