A clear, biodegradable gel without any animal extract in it, Restylane, a product of Q-Med AB of Uppasala, Sweden, is a natural beauty lift. To correct wrinkles and folds, shape the facial contours, and augment the lips, Restylane would make a good choice. A fine needle is used to inject it into the skin directly in tiny amounts. With the natural substance hyaluronic acid as its main constituent, Restylane is also used to increase the volume of lips. An enclosed needle (30-gauge) is used to inject Restylane. Also, 20 mg/ml of hyaluronic acid that is stabilized is also a constituent of 0.5ml Restylane, in which there are around 500,000 gel particles per ml. Upper dermis is the appropriate area for injecting Restylane. Moreover, an enclosed 30-gauge needle is used to inject it. For treating worry marks and other superficial lines, Restylane 0.5ml is used.

Precautions

One should not take Restylane injections without consulting a physician or a specialist. Moreover, for getting Restylane injected for treating any deformity, it must be handled by a specialist who has done a thorough check on the anatomy of the dermal area where it will be injected.

Recommendations

It is advisable to continue the treatment with Restylane for a minimum of six months and a maximum of one year for better results, as this treatment is only a temporary cure. The period for which the treatment lasts depends on the factors like type of skin, age, and lifestyle.
